A 4-Alarm Fire!

Last week we celebrated Eric's 4th birthday! We started by having gifts and cupcakes at home on his birthday. This past weekend, we had his party at the local fire station. I will go on record by saying that this was the most fun birthday I've ever been a part of! :) The kids got to take a tour of the station, sit in the fire truck and spray the hose. Eric even got to go for a ride in the truck! The firefighters were amazing and it was all in all a wonderful event!

On the front of the fire truck (this is a "Quint" truck - know what that means?) :) One of the fireladies showed us a demonstration of putting on all their gear - wow, that's really heavy stuff! Eric spraying the hose - you can tell he didn't like this at all (yeah right)

6 Weeks - We Made It!

When you're expecting, you know the first six months are going to be hard. And it's been said that the first six weeks are the hardest. After that, babies start to recognize you and show some personality, you get on a schedule, you get more sleep...So we are excited that we've made it through the toughest part! Julia is a WONDERFUL baby so we have been very blessed. And it is amazing to us to look at how much she has already grown. Time is already starting to go too fast...
