In October, we got to do a LOT of fun activities. First, Eric went on his first field trip with his school and went to Pumpkin School! We went to the local pumpkin patch where he got to pick out a pumpkin, learn about pumpkins, have homeade donuts and juice and play on the hale bales. What fun!
We also headed out for our annual trip to the apple orchard, where Eric had more fun eating the apples than picking them!
We also got plenty of opportunities to celebrate Halloween. Here, Eric goes to the Dublin Spooktacular celebration.
We got to go to the pumpkin patch with Daddy, too, where Eric got to pick many many pumpkins!
October is a milestone for us also because of starting soccer! Eric absolutely loves it. With no real games, and more of learning how to play, this is the perfect class for Eric to run and let loose some energy!
We were lucky to spend time with Grandparents!
And had plenty of time to play with leaves
We carved pumpkins (and made cookies!)
Eric's class had a Halloween party (here seen with friend Jenna)
And of course, the big event itself...Halloween!! Eric did fantastic this year. He walked the whole way (in the freezing cold) and went down 3 streets - his bucket was FULL when he got home!
