During the long weekend we went to visit Chloe along with her mom and dad (Jenny & Brian). :) Jenny is one of Marisa's greatest friends from Miami and it was wonderful to catch up! Chloe showed us her 'outside house', her basement, her slide, her new brother or sister's room and played games like "pick up Eric's spoon" and "peekaboo through the door". She also showed Eric how to run and jump on a pile of pillows - we can't believe he'll be able to do that in a few months! It's a good thing Cincinnati is so close in case he needs a refresher course.

Visit to New Jersey
This past weekend we visited NJ due to the loss of Tim's grandmother, Ethel Schoening. "Gram" was a wonderful woman who built a strong family, and I (Marisa) had the pleasure of meeting her on 3 different occassions. Unfortunately she didn't get to meet Eric, but we know he now has another angel watching over him. Here are some pictures from the weekend.
He liked to go under the table. Check out those baby blues! The family watching the Preakness

Visit to the Zoo
Yesterday was beautiful so we decided to take Eric to the Zoo! We can't say enough about the Columbus Zoo - large, beautiful, right down the street...what's not to love? And thanks to our new membership, we get to go there anytime we want!
Eric is so excited to visit the Zoo he wears his elephant outfit
And what are the first animals we see? The Elephants!! (to the left of this picture) Eric didn't quite know what to think of them. In honor of Mother's Day - a baby flamingo! The tigers were sleeping (you can see one right above my shoulder)
Eric loved the aquarium!... except when we got close and the fish swam right in front of him - that was scary!
So much to take in!
You can almost touch them!
Dad and Eric on the alligator
OK, maybe it's more fun to pull off your hat then to watch these things sleep
