Spring is in the Air

I've been remiss (again) on posting pictures, so here are some of the best since Easter. Eric got many stops from the Easter bunny, starting with one at home. We then went to Charleston to spend a tiny bit of time visiting with Cicily and Ashton, and then got to spend Easter with great-Aunt Marilyn and Uncle Ed who were driving through town to New Jersey. We also recently visited the Franklin Park Conservatory to see the Blooms and Butterflies exhibit - fun!!

Little E Is Not So Little Anymore

Our friend Nick wrote me today and said that "Little E is not so little anymore," is he? No, he's not and we have proof! Today was Eric's 2 year appointment at the doctor. After 2 years of not being on the "regular" growth chart, Eric is 24.6lbs, or in the 10th percentile! YAHOO!
AND, he is now up to 34.25 inches.....the 45th percentile! We couldn't be happier. Eric is definitely catching up!

Singing, Dancing and Counting!

We are having so much fun with Eric at this age! My cousin Cicily and her husband, Brian, always said that every day would get better and more fun - they were right!! Eric is learning so much every day and it just amazes me. He can count to ten by himself and to 20 with help, he knows almost all the colors, he loves to sing songs and he REALLY loves to dance. We just started a music class (We Joy Sing) and he loves it. I've been delinquent on updating the website with video, so here are some of my favorites. You'll see that we can get the most out of E when he is seated. Enjoy his dancing, counting and singing! (To hear better, scroll to the bottom and push the "pause" button that is playing the music)

Dougie's Wedding

Congratulations to Dr. and Mrs. Douglas End! We had such a fantastic weekend celebrating with Tim's best friend from Dallas TX. Tim was an excellent best man (smile) and the whole weekend was one that was very memorable - Doug and Ayrica know how to throw a party! In all truthfulness, it was one of the nicest weddings we have ever attended. It was so great to see all of our friends from Denison! Here are some of the pictures from the weekend.

We got back on Eric's birthday and celebrated by moving him to the big-boy bathtub. Woo hoo!
