Whirlygig!

Who knew that having a toddler was so much fun!! Making us feel like kids again and laughing until our sides hurt, Eric tonight decided that he would show us how to "spin". When's the last time you did that? Stick your arms out, turn in circles as fast as you can....it's fun, isn't it? We should all do it daily just to make us smile. Then.....get dizzy...and fall...and do it again!

Last weekend we had the pleasure of celebrating the marriage of our friend Ashley to Mr. Jacob Eidson. It was a beautiful night (even a rainbow!) and we are so happy for them.

Welcome to toddler-hood

In just the 2 short weeks that Eric has been walking, he has come very far. He can now bend over and pick something up, make turns and stand up from sitting. He's getting very good at walking, as it's ALL he wants to do. We hardly ever see him crawl anymore (how sad!). Here is a newer clip of him walking in the basement. Again, sorry for the messy camera footage.

Happy Fourth of July!

It was a busy week! Eric played a lot in the sun and is getting much better walking outside; we celebrated Angie's birthday at the annual dinner at Lindey's; we had a picnic with our friends on the fourth and we watched fireworks from our driveway. Whew! Having fun is exhausting! :)

Jen's Shower/ Party

This past weekend we were supposed to go to Chicago but (sadly) decided that Eric needed to stay at home. We've travelled a LOT and have had lots going on, and especially with the onset of Eric walking decided it would be best for us to just stay at home and 'chill' a while. Jeff & Jamie, Paula & John - we miss you terribly but I PROMISE we will see you soon!

So...Marisa's dear friend, Jen, is getting married in just 5 weeks. Because we stayed at home, Marisa was able to to attend Jen's shower and bachelorette party. It's hard to believe we all became close friends nearly 8 years ago at COSI! (Not sure what COSI is? Click the link to the right under "favorites" to find out...)
