There's something to be said about going to a place that feels like home. Even if it's not exactly home. Growing up, my nearly second home was in Snowshoe, WV. I started to ski when I was 4 and haven't looked back. Now, we love to take Eric there to experience West Virginia's beauty and all it has to offer.
This weekend we took advantage of Tim having Columbus Day off and spent a long weekend enjoying the fall foliage - WOW! We miss the mountains so much and it was wonderful to feel back at home. We spent a lot of time hiking, reading, exploring and just being with each other. It was wonderful! (Despite having to turn around once because a bear crossed our path!)
On Friday, my parents (Nana and Papa Bill) joined us and we walked on the Greenbrier River Trail and then into Cass, an old railroad logging town. Eric had a ball and so did we! It was definitely a trip to remember. Here are just some of the very many photos that we took of the beautiful weekend. And be sure to turn your speakers up! :)
