We ran downtown among 45,000 other participants. Can you believe it? That's so many people all there for one cause. It was overwhelming. Columbus is among the top ten largest Komen races. Tim and I haven't been in the best shape, but we actually did pretty well. We ran to celebrate Tim's mom, Marge, Tim's aunt, Marilyn, my dad's assistant, Lynn, and we ran to remember our friend, Pat Pleska. To all survivors, we honor you!
Eric takes it all in...
Before the race (the pink wigs in the background were to honor a local newscaster who passed from breast cancer earlier this year)
There were runners as far as we could see in front of us....
During the race, the streets were lined with bands, motorcycles and cheerleaders
We did it!!!
